Open tea bowl with chun glaze & wax resist decoration

Open tea bowl. The piece has first been glazed with dark tenmoku glaze, and then decorated with hot wax, brushes on. The bowl has then been dipped into Chun glaze - a pale blue glaze. The wax resists the glaze, revealing the darker tenmoku underneath.
 
Reduction fired in a gas kiln to 1300 C
