750 ml dry ochre ash glaze teapot

Teapot, dry ochre ash glaze. Capacity 750 ml (1 and a quarter pints)
We make this glaze from clay which we dig from a field a few hundred yards from the pottery, and wood ash from our wood-burning stove. The yellow iron oxide in the clay is the same mineral which gives the Cotswold stone its characteristic honey colour. Reduction fired to 1300C.
